Not quite John, Mosaic was developed on Sun’s Solaris based workstations as well as Windows and Macs. In fact it ran best on Sun’s Solaris, and to get Windows and Macs on an IP network was a pain since there was no ‘official’ IP stack on those machines for a while as I recall.
