I have only been observing what is going on in the VoIP space for a short while so this observation has to be seen as one from a neophyte.
I find it strange that Verizon would go after Vonage, effectively trying to cut off its oxygen using legal means. To be fair Vonage has had its share of self-inflicted issues (remember the IPO?)
Perhaps Verizon considers Vonage to be a threat to its business, but surely isn’t the real threat Skype?
Did I miss something here?
