Plentiful Supply

In a previous post, I talked about how new services and usage patterns emerge if you take anything that is in short supply and make it available in large quantities cheaply.

Looking around there are some interesting examples of this happening:

Amazon has its S3 data storage service and its Elastic Compute Cloud.

Google has Google Base.

And there are lots and lots more….
